Mathematics is at the center of our culture and its history is often confused with that of philosophy.

Mathematics has a number of very useful benefits to our mind if we go into its study. It develops our reasoning, helps us to have analytical thinking, quickens our mind, generates practicality and also its use can be applied in the day to day.
​
The mathematics is present in our daily lives. For many students, math is boring, abstract, lacking in creativity, complex and very difficult to understand. But it is a subject that is part of the study of our children and as such should be an effort for compression, which usually involves constant practice.
​
Being a graduate from Nanyang Technological University (Hons Degree and Master), Singapore Polytechnic (Top 5%), Singapore Institute of Management (Business Administration), & Anderson Secondary School (top technical class) academic knowledge, I have the pedagogy / methodological procedures in the transfer of knowledge, and that is very important.

A NTU Engineering Graduate who has taught IP Math, Math & Additional Math in River Valley High School, Kent Ridge Sec, Yishun Primary, Swiss Cottage Sec and Kranji Sec School. I have proven tutoring records of 8 years producing GCE O A1/A2 Math, and PSLE A* Math students.
I seek to understand my tutees' academic background first, structure my lesson plan to suit tutees’ needs, go thru their school-assigned homework, give them assessment book questions, and give them school exam papers to boost their Math knowledge and confidence.

I’m a tutor who is committed, patient, flexible in rearranging timing, willing to go extra mile*** to check tutees’ progresses toward their major exam.

*** = extra lessons in Jun & Sep holidays to ensure students are well-prep for their GCE and PSLE.

I’m updated regularly by Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) & Mind Stretcher Tuition Centre on latest MOE/SEAB standard. Months/weeks before major exam, I would set extra time for my tutees ensuring each lesson are taught till tutees’ understand. At times due to urgency, I would message solution for tutees’ questions outside their planned lessons.

A passionate tutor who wants his students to seek to understand, to adopt and apply a proven pedagogy taught in his/her Math questions, and excel in his test, moving on to become a useful citizen in our society.

I have proven tutoring (a) National Junior College Year 3-4 student bringing her grades from E (no interest in IP Math) to B-grade over 2 years, (b) Bukit Batok Sec Sec 3 student from C to A1 in his AMath and Math in 2016/2017, (c) CHIJ / Anderson Sec Sec 2 students from D to B grade over 6 months, (e) Kent Ridge Sec Sec 3 student from D to B grade over 2 years, (f) Jurongville Sec Twin brothers improve from C to A in their Sec 2/3/4 in Math & AMath, (g) Poi Ching / ChiangKat / Clementi / Alexandra Primary P6 student A* in Math in 2016//2017/2018/ 2019 respectively.
